10x12 Tarps
Tarps come in many sizes, from 100 feet by 100 feet for use in commercial settings to smaller 10x12 tarps. Typically used for personal needs, 10x12 tarps are large enough to cover a vehicle or any other investments outdoors and to temporarily patch a roof. Made out of medium- or heavy-duty polyethylene, 10x12 tarps are helpful for occasions in which quick and temporary coverage for an investment is needed.
Snow and ice can take a while to clean off when it comes to your car. To keep your car clean in any weather, throw a 10x12 tarp over the surface for quick protection. Smaller boats and motorcycles may need the same type of protection, and regardless of the vehicle you have at home, a 10x12 tarp can be applied and attached through bungee cords. Treated to be UV resistant and waterproof, polyethylene tarps prevent the elements from damaging your vehicle.
10x12 tarps not only benefit vehicles but also any other investments outdoors. Do you regularly chop wood and keep it in a pile, or do you have a garden? When frost might form overnight, don't take your chances. Instead, cover your wood or protect your garden with a medium-duty 10x12 tarp.
Medium-duty 10x12 tarps, however, can be used on a larger scale. If a natural disaster, such as a tornado or hurricane, passes through your area, chances are your home will be damaged and needs to be repaired as quickly as possible. Contractors, in the aftermaths of disasters, are handling a deluge of requests, and you may need to wait. To prevent water and mildew from entering your home, apply 10x12 tarps over any damaged part of your roof, lights, or windows. The tarp does not protect on its own, however, and needs to be fastened to the surface of your roof through boards and nails.
