Large White Tarps

     Poly tarps come in many colors, including green, camo, yellow, and blue, but the two most common colors of tarp are silver and white. Silver and white tarps are often used for their reflective properties outdoors and, from outdoor canopies and tents to awnings, both white and silver tarps are common. Large white tarps in particular have many outdoor uses and, as large tarps, the white canopies are sometimes a better choice than silver canopies for certain outdoor situations. Large white tarps are often heavy duty poly tarps and are used for the same purposes outdoors. Large tarps, white and otherwise, are used for various purposes, from being a truck tarp, to a large canopy or portable garage tarp, to covering a large vehicle or large area.

     Large white tarps can be as large as 50 by 100 square feet, and these large white tarps are usually used as truck tarps or tarps for an industrial sized portable garage. Small or large, white tarps have the same properties as any heavy duty poly tarps. This includes such treatments to the poly tarp as a waterproof surface, UV resistance, tear and abrasion resistance, mildew resistance, and rot resistance and, in some cases, a fireproof surface that meets multiple California state fire codes. As a large white tarp is often used for a prolonged period to cover an object, it needs to be durable enough to not only cover the object but to protect it for several months, as well. Protecting an object with a tarp, in most cases, means that a large white tarp protects from UV rays and water exposure that could result in rot and mildew.

     Large white tarps are used outdoors for their reflective properties and are used often in areas directly exposed to sunlight. Some common uses for large white tarps include use as outdoor tents, including portable garages, carports, and temporary wedding tents in some cases, and as an awning or canopy. Some other common uses for large white tarps include use as RV covers or large boat covers, as these seasonal vehicles need coverage from a large heavy duty poly tarp for several months, and as truck tarps. For the latter, large white poly tarps are used as flatbed truck tarps to cover materials, such as asphalt, that should not come in contact with water during transport.
