Mesh Tarps
Tarps are often designed to block out light completely, but others, such as mesh tarps, allow some through. Of course, this feature has a purpose and, as a result, mesh tarps are used in gardens, on construction sites, and on trucks. All mesh tarps are made from woven polypropylene and are treated to the UV and mold resistant. The mesh tarps carried through our store block out 50 percent of the light, allowing the area below to be partially shaded. In such cases, these tarps are useful as a temporary screen, as shade, and also as basic protection for objects that can be exposed to water.
Around the home, mesh tarps are useful in the garden. Those with low-light plants, for example, may create an area specifically for this type of foliage by adding a mesh tarp canopy. Certain plants, such as holly and bleeding hearts, need low light to grow and, if your property isn't equipped with such an area, you can create one by way of a mesh tarp on a metal frame.
If a contractor is working on your property, he or she may also use mesh tarps as a temporary screen. The work for a contractor varies from setting up a garden and adding mulch to leaf raking and mowing an area, and placing mesh tarps around prevents the debris from flying across the property. Additionally, this same use is what makes mesh tarps popular on construction sites, as well.
As mesh tarps offer some UV and mold protection but allow light to pass through, they'e often used as truck tarps. Certain materials being transported don't need protection from moisture and, in some cases, may benefit from being exposed to light. Rocks and gravel are often covered with a mesh tarp to prevent any part of the load from flying out of the truck, and, as long as the tarp is attached properly, the load will be secure.
