White heavy duty poly tarps are the best quality heavy duty tarps our website carries, aside from silver heavy duty poly tarps. The polyethylene material has a 12x12 weave for the best wear and weather protection and weighs 6 oz. per square yard.
To hold the tarp down easily, the fabric has heavy duty eyelets every 18-24 inches and corner reinforcement, plus rope reinforced in the hem. .
This white heavy duty poly tarp will last as long as any silver tarp. In addition, the heavy duty tarp protects from mildew, rot, tears, and acid and is water proof and Ultra Violet (UV) resistant . Like the silver tarp, it is commonly used in the construction industry but can also be used to cover boats and RVs.
With a more aesthetically pleasing color, the white heavy duty poly tarp is often used as a replacement for outdoor tents, awnings, and canopies. Because it has UV protection and reflective properties, the white heavy duty tarp is best used outdoors in areas but, in the winter, the tarp's durability allows it to be used as an ice skating rink. To make an ice skating rink from the tarp, weigh the tarp's perimeter with sand bags and flood the tarp until the water freezes.
